Great Assessment in Action Masterclass
ssessment is important because it drives so much of our instructional decision-making in schools. QELi is delighted to partner on this practical and thought-provoking masterclass, where Bron Ryrie Jones explores the big ideas in assessment that all teachers should know. With a focus on everyday practice, Bron explores the quality and difficulty models in assessment, describing how issues of reliability commonly impact teacher assessment. Teachers of all experience levels will leave this masterclass with the knowledge and strategies needed to meaningfully tweak, adapt and refine teacher-written assessments across the curriculum.
High Performing Teams
The High Performing Teams program is a program designed to help you to step up to the challenges involved in leading whole school improvement—through a focus on strengthening your capabilities in the areas identified as critical in making a difference to the outcomes of students and as you develop those around you in your own school now and in the future.
This program is built on evidence practices that Instructional Leaders demonstrate to be effective in leading and driving school improvement. Participants will learn about and implement evidence based Instructional Leadership practices through Action Research and workplace projects.

Research Culture Masterclass
This one-day master class will assist school leaders in meeting the AITSL Principals’ Professional Standard through the Professional Practices of leading teaching and learning, developing staff and others, and leading improvement, innovation and change. It will focus on the nature of practitioner research and the development of sustainable research culture and evidence-based decision making in schools.
Responsive Teaching in Action Masterclass
Evidence from the fields of cognitive science and education research increasingly point to the value of responsive teaching practices. QELi is delighted to partner on this interactive and evidence-informed masterclass, where Bron Ryrie Jones leads a deep dive into the what, the why and the how of responsive teaching. Specific teaching techniques are named, described and practised, with plentiful classroom examples shared across curriculum domains and levels. Teach Like a Champion Program 2021 - Nambour State College
QELi facilitated a 'Teach Like a Champion Program' for Nambour State College in 2021. QELi, in partnership with Uncommon Schools, is proud to support teachers and leaders with a Teach Like a Champion Program. This program, Teach Like a Champion: Systems and Routines, focuses on the techniques that champion teachers use to design, install and maintain systems and routines that students do automatically and with little-to-no teacher prompting, such as ‘strong start’, ‘cold call’ and ‘exit tickets’ or techniques for participating in a discussion.

QELi co-facilitated with the Department of Education QLD the Facilitation of Intentional Collaboration through the Inquiry Cycle Program in 2021. The Facilitation of Intentional Collaboration through the Inquiry Cycle Program was built to enable participants to become facilitators (a resource for their region) to support facilitating the inquiry approach with intentional collaboration networks (such as Clusters).
