QELi is delighted to partner with Anna Ranaldo (CDTL), Founder and Director of Collective Courage, to offer Dr Brené Brown’s highly-regarded Dare to Lead™ program to educators. The program has been tailored to explore challenges facing leaders within the education sector.
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Based on the research of Dr Brené Brown, Dare to Lead™ is an empirically based courage-building program for educators, leaders and change agents. Brené is a research professor at the University of Houston where she holds the Huffington Foundation – Brené Brown Endowed Chair at The Graduate College of Social Work. She has spent the past two decades studying courage, vulnerability, shame, and empathy, and most recently completed a seven-year study on courageous leadership.
She is the author of five #1 New York Times bestsellers: The Gifts of Imperfection, Daring Greatly, Rising Strong, Braving the Wilderness, and Dare to Lead, which also debuted at #1 on The Wall Street Journal and Publisher’s Weekly lists.

ONLINE PROGRAM
What is Dare to Lead™ Online Training?
Leadership courage is a collection of four learnt skills. This virtual program gives you the flexibility to learn and connect with other leaders remotely via our Zoom Classroom. You’ll have access to Dr Brené Browns exclusive videos and activities in order to build your courage toolkit:
- Navigating Vulnerability + Leading with Values
- Building Trust + Rising from Setbacks
Participants explore Dr Brené Brown’s research, complete an online leadership assessment and learn how to connect, navigate difficult conversations and hold other’s accountable. Small group discussion and practice built into your virtual classroom experience.
Delivered by certified Dare to Lead™ Facilitator Anna Ranaldo (CDTLF). Anna has a psychology background and certified in 2016 with Brené Brown’s Daring Way™ team. Anna has 5 years’ experience delivering Brené Brown certified programs, including Dare to Lead™ in Education public and private sectors.

What is the Dare to Lead™ Program?
The most significant finding from Brené’s latest research is that courage is a collection of four skill sets that are teachable, measurable, and observable. The Dare to Lead™ two-day workshop for educators unpacks how to build brave cultures and drive performance by unpacking the four skills required to build brave cultures and resilient students through:
- Navigating vulnerability & Leading with values
- Building trust & Rising with setbacks
Participants will explore Dr Brené Brown’s research, complete a leadership assessment and learn how to connect, navigate difficult conversations and hold other’s accountable for success.
Dare to Lead™ program graduates are able to further embed their course experience into school and system learning communities by gaining access to Daring Classroom™ resources. Launched in 2019, Daring Classroom™ is the latest Brené Brown offering for educators, providing videos and resources tailored for students.
