QELi and the Queensland Department of Education are delighted to invite educators to the Indigenous Education Conference 2020
It is in its fourth year and in this short space of time the conference has grown considerably. The Indigenous Education Conference has now well and truly established itself as an incredibly valuable event to attend, participate in and support. What started out as a one-day conference is now a two-day event that attracts not only international speakers, but influential educators from throughout the state.
The increased success of the conference is a strong reflection of the importance placed on improving educational outcomes of our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students. It provides a rare opportunity for educators throughout the state, the country and even across the Tasman, to share success stories, learn from peers, hear from highly-respected educational leaders, network and, most importantly, converge with a unified objective and unwavering commitment to ensure our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students have the best chance of success.
The Indigenous Education Conference is once again expected to attract 400 school and system leaders from every Educational jurisdiction across Queensland from all schooling sectors, from across the country and potentially across the Tasman.
