SYSTEM LEADERSHIP: A TRANSFORMATIONAL APPROACH TO LEARNING & IMPROVEMENT

This webinar will explore the purpose of system leadership and the role of system leaders. It will look at what we have learned over the last 10 years about what works and the impact of the approach in developing school led self improving systems. It will also explore why it sometimes fails to live up to its promises and how we might address that. Finally it will look at the role of system leadership in the future, and its power and potential to create transformative, inclusive and thriving education systems.

You will learn:

  • To understand the purpose of system leadership and its benefits
  • To understand both the opportunities it can bring to individuals, schools and systems, and the challenges in sustaining it as a force for improvement long term

This session will also include the opportunity for a Q&A.

ESTABLISHING FLEXISPACES IN OUR SCHOOLS

Many students experience challenges at various junctions in their school life, and for most students, remaining at their school provides the best chance of success. There are many people who require more flexible settings. A FlexiSpace is just one of these options and is designed to retain students who are at-risk of disengaging from their mainstream school, rather than see students being referred to other options or pathways.
