Australian Council for Educational Leaders (ACEL) is a not-for-profit company and a learning organisation that is continuously improving its practices to contribute to and draw from national and global learning opportunities. ACEL actively supports the development of educational leadership capabilities across Australia through conferences, workshops, leadership programs, in-house publications, online resources and our one-stop bookshop for educational leaders at all levels.

The Leadership for Middle Leaders Online Program is a multi-phase program incorporating synchronous and asynchronous activities across four phases:

Welcome & Preparation
– Welcome email with program preparation – week of 17 July 2023
– Introductory virtual workshop via zoom (1.5 hour) – 25 July 2023, 3.30pm AEST
– 360 GENOS (Leadership Feedback Report) Survey – 26 July to 16 August 2023
– 1 hour virtual coaching session to debrief the 360 GENOS Report to develop targeted leadership behaviour growth – 4 to 14 September 2023
Online Modules
Participants will engage in 8 Leadership modules through virtual workshops (1.5 hours each) and complete pre and post work aligned to each module. This knowledge will assist in developing and implementing their Leadership Challenge Action Project Plan (LCAP).

LEADERSHIP JOURNEY PRESENTATIONS – Participants share their leadership journey with colleagues with a Video Recorded Presentation to be submitted by 27 March 2024
LEADERSHIP JOURNEY FEEDBACK – Participants provide feedback to their colleagues on their Video Recorded Presentation submission by 19 April 2024
Reflections on Impact
Participants will submit their online Reflections on Impact Survey by 15 May 2024
Certificate
Participants will be awarded their Certificate of Completion via email – week of 20 May 2024
